Health & Safety Policy

Plastonor AB, along with its subsidiary companies Safesack Scandinavia AB and Safesack Finland Oy, is fully dedicated to providing the safest possible work environment for its employees. Our mission is to ensure that our employees feel safe and healthy upon arrival to work and that this feeling lasts throughout the working day, every day. Neither employees nor subcontractors working in any of the activities should suffer from sickness or feel unsafe due to the work environment in which they are engaged.
The purpose of this policy is to establish clear guidelines for preventing any kind of unsafe work environment, whether physical or psychosocial. The policy applies to all employees and anyone visiting the premises. We encourage all our employees and partners to work systematically to prevent work-related sickness and accidents.
To achieve our purpose we do the following to create a safety culture to guide our H and S work
– All employees are encouraged to report any risks they come across in their daily work.
– Tools, gear, and other helpful items should be selected with safety in mind.
– Regular risk assessments should be conducted in every department annually, as well as when new departments or activities are started.
– Regular training in fire safety and CPR should be provided, as well as specific training for the activities we carry out, such as forklift operation and computer use.
– Communication should be regular regarding identified risks and how they are prevented.
– Keep up to date with applicable laws and regulations
– Carrying out regular safety inspections on our premises
